Aaron Chen is an award-winning comedienne from Sydney, Australia. He has performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, won numerous awards, and sold out his own show. His work has also earned him a nomination for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer Award. In addition, he has received the Directors' Choice Award at two past festivals. This is a testament to his comedic talents, which have brought him to the national stage.


Chen began performing stand-up comedy while attending North Sydney Boys High School, where his "smart-arse comments" in class soon turned into a winning act. In 2012, he won the Melbourne Comedy Festival's Class Clowns national competition for high school students. He was 15 years old at the time.

Aaron Chen is one of the rising stars of the stand-up scene in Australia. His stand-up shows have been featured on Adult Swim and billboards around the country. He is well-known for his quick wit and ability to write punchy lines. One of his best tricks is taking an audience on a round-trip journey with one of his jokes.


Aaron's mic technique is exquisite. Aaron Chen is a partner at Lee, Tsai & Partners, where he focuses on intellectual property, corporate law, and competition law. He is also well-versed in arbitration and dispute resolution. He has served as in-house counsel for Bank of America during the banking crisis. He balances zealous legal advocacy with practical business solutions.


His first gig as a stand-up comic was when he was in high school. He turned his smart-arse comments to his classmates into a winning act, and won the Melbourne Comedy Festival's Class Clowns competition for high schoolers at the age of 15. Chen has since gone on to appear on a number of comedy shows, including Fisk and Have You Been Paying Attention.
